If you are a regular reader of my blog, then you may have noticed that I usually add an “information brief” to supplement content in the post.
In this short post, I’ll explain more about this popular content format and where you can find these briefs on my website.

What are information briefs?
Information briefs are financial information graphics, or “finfo-graphics” for short, that summarize and/or supplement key takeaways from my blog posts and books. The documents are no more than two pages and formatted as PDF files for downloading.
Are information briefs popular?
I offer multiple forms of free content on my website, but information briefs are the most popular type.
Over the past month, 13 of the top 14 downloads are information briefs (see chart below).

Generally, shorter-form content like information briefs are preferred by younger generations (Millennials and Gen Z, in particular) because they deliver key takeaways and important statistics concisely, allowing for faster consumption.
Where to find?
There are two ways you can access the information briefs on DIYmoneytrack.com:
Blog posts – links to information briefs are included in most blogs, providing a summary of key takeaways from the post and supplemental knowledge.
Finfo-graphics resources page – You can find all of the information briefs under Resources on my website (see below).
